The Walking Dead #46 -"I Didn't Expect That..." *SPOILER*

Not in a million years did I think Robert Kirkman would go this far. Its not the way he did it that got me. Its who he did it to. This series and especially this issue are not for the faint of heart.

Now I can see that all bets are off. If Kirkman is willing to kill off a main character like Tyreese then no one is safe. NO ONE!

This is the most intense issue I have read yet. Kirkman's ever-present focus on the story doesn't prepare you for brutal decapitation of Tyreese by the Governor. I'm just hoping he gets his due from Michonne now that we know "Fatso" was lying and she is alive and in a great position to do great harm to the Governor's head.

Kirkman's other titles, Invincible, Wolfman, etc. do not hold a candle to The Walking Dead. Invincible is good, but he is going to have something really wicked up his sleeves to bump it up to the status of TWD. This is truly one of the only comic series I can imagine appearing on an cable network or some type of show as an ongoing series . Just keep it a little tighter than The Soprano's if you ever get a chance to write it, Robert.
